La Florida Cartoons

THE GRANDADDY  of FLORIDA LAND DEALS!

The Seminole Marched Toward The White Men 400 Strong.  After Each Verse Of Their Song, They Gave A Loud Scream.

And So Began In 1823, The Ceremony For The Treaty Of Moultrie Creek.

In The Treaty The Seminole Had To Give Up Most Of Florida, Some 28 Million Acres.

In Exchange They Received About $221,000.

That's Roughly 3/4 Cent Per Acre!

Visit The Ah-Tha-Thi-Ki Seminole Museum.
