Pictorial Illustration Of Abolitionism, 1844

Abolitionism divided the  M.E. Church with its more than a million of membership, by introducing a new test of membership, although Mr. Wesley, in 1784, when the Church was organized, did not make slave-holding a test.  It never had been a test of membership from the Apostolic day until this time.

  1. The 1844 "Pictorial Illustration Of Abolitionism" visualizes the fight against slavery, a powerful historical document. Its imagery spoke volumes, advocating for freedom and equality. Today, we can learn from the past while indulging in some wordplay fun with wordle unlimited! A reminder that challenges, then and now, require persistent effort.
